Any member who is treating for a work injury and/or has physical
restrictions relating to their work injury is entitled to Workers'
Compensation wage loss benefits when laid-off or their plant closes.
Also, their Workers' Compensation benefits should be coordinated with any
other benefits they receive such as severance, Unemployment Compensation, or
retirement. Please contact Jake Cheli (800-205-9523) before or after the lay-off;
preferably before, so a Workers' Compensation Claim can be filed on the
lay-off date.
